Recommendations?

This is an inquiry for those who have used baby slings/carriers...I am searching for a good sling to haul my little princess around in so I can get a few things done around the house. Does anyone have some suggestions as to a fabulous sling? Please let me know...I feel like a prisoner in my bedroom...Thanks all!

Anne - Your little princess is so cute. I can't wait for her and Sofia to play together. I bought a moby. There is a girl that sells them out of her home in provo. You can check them out at http://www.mobywrap.com/. Let me know if you want to call her and I will find her number.

Candice's moby is really cool... i think that you will like it. I would either get a moby or if you are in the market for more of a "traditional" carrier, I had the baby bjorn and LOVED it. I tried 3 other kinds and disliked them all then finally forked out the $ for the bjorn and it was worth it.

I have an ERGO but its better for doing things outside...I loved my bjorn but some people swear by the MOBY or the MAITAI. You just have to try them out and see which fits you and baby best.

She's so dang cute, Annie. Congratulations!!!

And, you'll get so wrapped up in her OUTSIDE of you that you'll stop missing pregnacy pretty quickly. Oh, what a cute mom you are!

Love the Moby! It takes a few tried to get it on right, but once I got it I loved it. Comfy for you and the babe. Your little girl is a cutie!

I have a hand-me-down Bjorn that I love but those wrap thingies look so snuggly. Plus sometimes the Bjorn isn't as supportive for a newborn's head and their little limbs can get in the way of doing things the way they stick out all over. Let me know what you decide to get!

I don't know yet, but i went to a baby safety seminar that defended the Moby and Slings. I have a friend who had a Moby and she could never get it to be right, I mean, I am sure with patience and someone with experience showing you how to use it it's easier. I got a sling on my baby shower and I will try that, it seems simpler. Here is a link to it, I hope it will work :http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3372663

let me know which one you got and if u like it!

love you!

You could glue velchro on your clothes and the baby's clothes. It sounds like it would work.

I have the baby bjorn and really like it. Newborns seem a little too small for it, but I think by about a month or two, it works great. Gage really liked it as he got older because I'd face him out and he could see all that was going on. It will work while she is younger, but you just have to support it a little when you lean over to pick something up. Brighton would probably like it because she could cuddle up against your body and fall asleep. I haven't tried a sling, but they look like they work well too.
